In what must be the longest teach-out in the history of teach-outs, we (actually me, we ran out of extra staff in 2019) have finally graduate the last LIS student in QUT history. Should feel proud, actually feel shattered (which could just be the sound of a career ending)

@johannabrown Life is about reflective learning. 1-shot assessment is all about being able to articulate a reflection that has been related to something concrete. Students struggle when you give them abstracts (ie. withouth context and meaning) and ask them to provide the substance.

@jackiantonovich I do something similar but I ask, what questions 'can' you ask me'. That makes it an active statement. I also talk to the class as 'we' to create an inclusive atmosphere but shift to a 'you' for consultations so they can feel a singular focus on their questions and concerns.
