@MurphysLaw74 @GardenLevelPod Might as well add Jack Hughes. Nemec and Mercer are proven NHL pro’s, young and relatively inexpensive. Lohrei is a 5-6 D and Poitras, while underrated, hasn’t proven anything . I imagine you are adding a two firsts and someone else to the package.

@dominictiano I know he is ranked later than when the B’s pick, but the more I watch Alex Command, the more I like him. He really pushes pace and can make a wide range of plays. He’s just raw/lanky. He’s hung in as a top 30 player but I wonder if he would be a reach for the B’s. Thoughts?

@A_Reformed_Goy @Twistafied He was pretty clear…McAvoy isn’t a weapon. His offensive game does not make opposing teams nervous. He’s a great 2-way, physical D…but he leans towards the D zone and transition game. His PP game is average at best (but let’s be honest, he isn’t close to a PP1 QB.

@racetofifty @Jessemedscience I met Don at a f’ing Bentley game during the last lock out and he was scouting. We talked to him. He was actually really personable and gave us time, answered our questions. That was a long time ago though. Perhaps he has hardened.

@AbsCoverage @PuckBunkerBoyce And where do you have Rudolph? Villeneuve? These are all interesting D playing in different leagues. The RH makes Lin and Bleyl attractive though. Might be one of the most interesting drafts in memory. I cannot wait to see where these kids go and who takes them!

@TheGahdenClub @MikeFromWoburn I see two paths. Grab a D with the TOR pick and grab an F with the BOS pick. Or vice versa. So, if it is the former, Becheltz would be a win. I don’t love him as an earlier pick. For the latter @ forward, I want Sweeney to take Bjorck if he is there around 7-12. Elite.

@ConorRyan_93 2nd rounder and prospect? Trade! 3rd rounder or less, keep. But I think any player not named Pastrnak, McAvoy, Geekie and maybe Swayman has a value that might be worthy of consideration for trade if it makes the team a true contender within 2 years.

@GerryCallahan The shooter was MAGA. Had SS tats. Was accused by ex-wife as being narcissistic. All of the reporting I have seen from the Globe, BBC and other liberal sources have made it clear the shooter went by Roberta Esposito. Of all the things to cling to, the word trans is it?
