There is no doubt that the Glazers are parasites and that INEOS have made a mess of running the club but i feel like the players use that as an excuse far too often. All they’re asked to do is to give 100% for 90 minutes in a game of football like they signed a contract to do and that they get paid obscene amounts of money to do. The vast majority of people have to go to a job every day where the atmosphere is shit and are surrounded by incompetence in exchange for a pay cheque that is a rounding error to them. If you don’t want to play for the club then say that and leave but if you don’t and you take the field for this club then there isn’t an excuse in the world that justifies a refusal to run.
I will take ZERO enjoyment from Michael Carrick’s sacking. It has to be done after the results this season but it won’t be nice. He’s still always conducted himself with absolute class every single time & protected his players. Them players owe him a LOT.

You can’t help but feel for Michael Carrick.
When he spoke about holding the umbrella so he gets wet and everyone else stays dry, you could hear how much this is hurting him.
Whether he should be leading this side is a different question. But watching someone who clearly loves Manchester United look this drained is difficult.
We’ve seen this cycle so many times. A manager arrives full of belief, results turn, the pressure builds and eventually he’s sitting there looking beaten by it all.
Carrick now looks caught in that same cycle. You have to wonder how many more managers United will go through before something actually changes.
Sadly sounds like a farewell speech… just hope with all his passion for the club he calls out the ownership and directors on his way out, whether walking on his own or from sacking

🚨 BREAKING: Michael Carrick opens his Manchester United press conference with a heartfelt five-minute statement
FULL STATEMENT BELOW ⬇️
“I just want to say a few things really, I think it's important.
“I think recently we haven't had a good time, I think that's pretty obvious. I totally accept that, what we're going through at the moment.
“We had five months of relative success in a spell, where I was happy with a lot of things that I was seeing and that we were doing as a team.
“We haven't done well enough lately, I think that's pretty obvious to say, and we've had a spell that we're really not happy with.
“Wednesday was a bad night, it was a bad night for a lot of reasons, and it was a bad night that hurt a lot.
“It hurt me to see us play that way, to see how the game panned out. As I said, after the game it was really unacceptable for us to play like that and to be like that.
“The supporters are a huge part of this football club, for me to see the supporters have to make the effort and the time and spend the money to come and support us on Wednesday and have the feeling after the game, like we all felt, was a tough moment.
“I think that's pretty obvious.
“My responsibility is to get a team on a pitch that represents this football club, represents its supporters and they can be proud of it with the identity that we show.
“We have gone away from that just recently in certain games, which I'm totally fully aware of and definitely doing something about.
“I think it's important that we all recognise that, I certainly recognise it.
“Our supporters are the utmost of importance to me and this football club and for them to feel like they felt for five months at the start of the season, at the start of the year, for us to have that about us and that connection and that real vigour and intensity and enjoyment and passion that we all felt through that period was something that we need to get back to and we will get back to it.
“I fully believe that, but I think it's important that we recognise that we haven't been doing that.
“The foundation of this football club and the values of this football club have been put down and etched for many, many years.
“I totally understand and I get every single one of them.
“It comes down to humility, it comes down to being humble, it comes down to being hard-working and being really proud to work hard and being proud to live up to them values.
“There's a resilience about this football club that's been shown for a long, long time.
“Whether that's bouncing back from adversity, whether that's comebacks, whether that's late goals, whether that's success, whether that's sustaining success, there's a resilience in this football club that runs very, very deep.
“I've seen it with my own eyes, I've felt it, I'm aware of some of the individuals and know them closely who have been a big part of that history.
“I said it after the game, Manchester United is always bigger and it always has been, always will be bigger than any single individual.
“Bigger than me, bigger than any of the players and it always has been.
“I'm fortunate enough to know some players myself and play with some Ryan Giggs.
“I thought he'd be one of the greatest to play for this football club. It was never about Ryan Giggs, it was about Manchester United.
“Wayne Rooney was the top goalscorer of this football club.
“His biggest thing was playing for the team, sacrificing for the team and what was good for Manchester United.
“Sir Alex Ferguson, the best manager of all time, the greatest for me.
“Working with him, his main priority was Manchester United.
“Going back to Sir Matt, Sir Bobby, the resilience was beyond belief of what they showed and the way they rebuilt this football club.
“Again, it was based on being humble, having humility and hard work.
“We can never lose that and I won't let us lose that.
“We've had it for a spell. I feel very strongly about that.
“It inspires me a lot to live up to that and keep driving that with the players and the group that we have.
“We've shown for a good period of time that we're capable of it.
“We're in a moment where it's not gone well so we need to show exactly what it means.
“Respect this football club, respect what it takes to be here, respect what it takes to win, what you have to do to win.
“I'm not entitled to be here. Entitlement cannot be here at this football club. We're not entitled to win.
“We've won in the past, we've got an incredible history but that doesn't mean that you're entitled to just win.
“I'm fully aware of that. It takes hard work, it takes a lot of sacrifice.
“You've got to invest yourself in the football club and you've got to do a lot of things that maybe aren't so nice but you've got to do it for each other and you've got to win.
“I think it's important we live up to that and it's important for me to push those values and it's important for our supporters to feel that moving forward.
“We've had it, we've kind of lost our way a little bit if I'm totally honest and we'll get it back.
“I'm totally confident we'll get it back.
“Respect this football club, respect what it takes because it's very, very important to me.”
We need everyone to keep calling the parasites out. Great work everyone we have to keep pushing! This is the closest to a full sale we’ve ever been

What a crazy misleading stat. Doesn’t mean shit, if anything it’s bad if he’s the only one pressing and leaving a hole in our defensive shape…

🚨 JUST IN:
Bruno Fernandes will NOT be stripped of the Manchester United captaincy and is UNLIKELY to be disciplined by the club following his criticism of the coaching staff after the defeat to Como.
There is disappointment with his comments, but the wider feeling is he was voicing understandable anger at the manner of the defeat.

The Glazers are the biggest finessers of the 21st century.
Bought Manchester United through a leveraged takeover, saddling the club with debt rather than themselves.
Then sold a minority stake to INEOS, pocketed billions and handed over responsibility for football operations.
They’ve somehow managed to extract enormous wealth from United while distancing themselves from accountability for what happens on the pitch.
What’s next? - @sjatfkb
Tactics aside - and I 100% agree there’s major issues with the setup and ingame management of Manchester United right now - the thing that angers me most is the lack of intensity and energy for the cause from these players right now. Think that’s truly unforgivable.
Hey Avram and Joel thought I would tell you that it might be a good time to put Man Utd up for sale. The clubs value is likely to fall with the ways things are going so get out and sell high why you can xoxo
Can’t help but be hopeful that this will be the last season of this ownership… the amount of eyes across the footballing world that are opening and seeing our issues is gonna make it hard for them to hide much longer. We gotta keep pushing

Happened as soon as owners came in who didn’t care about challenging anymore, only cared about milking the club for everything they could. And they’ve been doing it for 21 years…

🚨🚨🗣️ Bruno Fernandes:
“At this club, there’s too much focus on what’s been done in the PAST, but we’re not those people anymore. The club and the players need to understand that.
“Unfortunately for us - especially when it comes to the players - those who join expect to win trophies, win games, and reach the highest level, but unfortunately, that’s been very DIFFICULT at this club in recent years. That’s the situation.”

What I find SO frightening about Manchester United is that this is beyond any manager. It’s structural issues at ownership level & they only care about the club as a commercial entity & the football is irrelevant. This is horrid. When you think it cannot get any worse; it does.
You’ll never see a more incompetently run foootball club in your life. For being as money hungry as they are, it’s shocking how they haven’t come to the realization that a successful team brings in more money…

Hire Ashworth, a well respected tier 1 DoF after a 5-month gardening leave. You sacked him a few weeks later following rows over Utd's football strategy and cos he opposed sacking TenHag and hiring Amorim.
You keep TenHag only to sack hin a few months later to make way for Amorim, a manager with an entirely different game model requiring huge squad changes, changes you were unwilling to make.
You sack Amorim after he calls you guys out and replace him with a tactically weak, rookie championship manager who doesn't get backed enough.
The guys who made all these calls need to leave with Carrick after the loss vs Bournemouth on Sunday
