@beyond_fps@Aldain_zero@cursedfrog67996 Just saying we're forgetting that these aren't all off the shelf parts, "Semi-Custom CPU & GPU"... likely a custom Power Supply configuration as well. In this economy, it was never going to be cheap, and imo it's more of an enthusiast novelty than a legit contender...
@RJ_T0day@Poeslawisalive It's the internet, sarcasm doesn't translate as well as it does verbally. Been that way since.... forever? It's why people took to using "/s" to denote sarcasm on certain platforms.
@nikgeneburn Any chance you can grace us with an Engine Room change? The BD seem to "see" through the barrels of their weapons. Shooting and spraying as if they have Eyes on their suppressors with some of the angles in the Engine room
@Baloney_and@TheAKGuy No one can truly secure our borders. It's a game of cat and mouse and theatrics about whose choices are better and who isn't securing them.
You want them truly secure you close them entirely, and we close ourselves to the outside world. But that will never happen, it's suicide
@Mikeswe78102911@DonutOperator It's not a politics thing. Recreational hunting has become more controversial because it's not hunting for food or for a purpose, but for entertainment that sits behind a mask of "conservation". It's a fine line that is easily crossed, easily defended, and easily condemned.
@Fat_Electrician the reason why Europe doesn't have or need Social Security programs is that they chose to embrace more "Socialist" programs like various universal safety nets in their gov't. I don't see how we can not have either without a rise in poverty and the disabled getting the shit end.
@Fat_Electrician@Fat_Electrician W/O Social Security, however, there's an absurd amount of Americans who are disabled and in their Senior years who would be flat broke. I hate to say it, but there's a legitimate knowledge gap when it comes to retirement savings as well as an opportunity gap.
@Fat_Electrician And I would assume "solving the utilities problem(s)" isn't a simple solution either and likely involves a ton of cost and investment and a likely year(s) of work.
@Fat_Electrician No one is opposing them from a functional standpoint. They're a drain on the local utilities, and instead of solving the utilities problem(s), there seems to be an expectation for the locals to just deal with added costs from the providers, brown-outs and low water-pressure.
@killererik1234@BSICHRISEASTERD Glitch mentioned previously that the 3d team is doing TADC at the moment. Glitch is not a giant animation studio with hundreds of artists and various contractors working 40+ hours on various projects. Sure maybe they have way more than most indie outfits but they're not AAA.
@truckdrive13@SydneyLWatson No, people have opinions. You can have immigration laws all you want. Naturally speaking, left and Right leaning opinons will always exist. You can't have one without the other. They'll just come to be when people question the opinions of others.
@Oni_Maku@dimi727@CasualChaz1982@ShitpostRock2 It's niche because, compared to almost any other genre, they're not always popular and are somewhat niche because people want constant interaction and stimuli that you aren't getting with a visual novel-esque story game. I know people who hated most of Telltale's catalogue...
@BradNor60401348@dimi727@Oni_Maku@CasualChaz1982@ShitpostRock2 I mean, narrative visual novel-type games need to be extremely popular or extremely well written to keep relevance, cause their gameplay isn't ever anything to talk about, no matter the game. Even Dispatch & TTTWD (as examples), the cast and story outshine the gameplay by miles..
@Oni_Maku@CasualChaz1982@ShitpostRock2 Honestly, each of these is just life story games. Life story games are a type of game that you either enjoy because you sit down and enjoy the story told, or you dislike it. It's like Liver & Onions or Black Licorice. It's not a genre for everyone.
