Today is Esa Tikkanen/Mark Messier day without booze for me 1,011 days.

I never had a drinking problem, per se. I had a problem when I drank.

I don’t miss it one bit, and I’ve never had that curiosity of, “Maybe just one.”

Being around it in social settings doesn’t faze me at all anymore. There’s no temptation, no feeling like I’m missing out and that is a very powerful feeling.
