@Realdavebrown@SdohertySean@Smithy_MFC84 It's not controversial - it's also a better valuation than you gave the club credit for, even if it looks cheap now with the value of hindsight.
@TallentireMedia@untypicalboro It'll be interesting to see how it unravels. I can't see they have all that many saleable assets, especially if they do need to try and raise ยฃ150m.
@Realdavebrown@mattyhynes88@GraemeBandeira Yeah agreed, if we can afford them. More squad depth is a must. We've had about 14 usable players for the last couple of months.
@mattyhynes88@Realdavebrown@GraemeBandeira Better players though. I think improving United was relatively easy given how poor they were. Be interesting to see how next season goes.
@mattyhynes88@Realdavebrown@GraemeBandeira Agree, needs to be 3/4 solid and predictable additions and then you have the foundations for a couple of calculated gambles. If there is such a thing.
@Realdavebrown@mattyhynes88@GraemeBandeira I wonder if Strelec was signed as a focal point and just isn't that olayer. Or maybe was but can't replicate it in the Championship.
@mattyhynes88@Realdavebrown@GraemeBandeira That's my point yes - all that entirely fair criticism. I just can't see what they saw in him. To have chased for so long just baffles me given how it's worked out so far. I honestly don't know, maybe he needs someone to play off, something else, not good enough. Who knows.
@Realdavebrown@GraemeBandeira That's exactly what I'm saying. I can't really understand what thry saw in him, especially to pursue him for so long, but presumably it is something?
@pjcboro@middy1989 I find it hard to fathom as well. Are people just leaning into the supervillain angle?
(That said, decision likely to be made for you by FA/EFL ban)
@wallsendredicko@TypicalBoroPod@GraemeBandeira@SimonPobble Good work as ever lads. Stats pretty damning aren't they. Attack a big concern and can't decide whether it's down to invididuals or systemic. If you take Whittaker, for example - weak, peripheral but also nothing ahead of him. Strelec - ineffective, ponderous, no real service.
