St. Thomas Aquinas (5A, 13-0) wins its second consecutive state title (last year in 4A) as they finish a perfect season, defeating Hays 35-13 for the 5A state championship on Saturday night in Emporia. Kansas coaching legend Randy Dreiling now with a state record of 10 state football titles as a head coach. He has three at Aquinas and had seven at Hutchinson prior.
