With Michigan’s win tonight, no team has ever lost the National Championship in the same season that its football coach was fired for cause and then arrested on three separate charges including third-degree home invasion.
Patrick Kane, after scoring the tying goal in a wild 3 goal comeback, takes one of the most needless, stupid penalties I've ever seen late in the 3rd period, leading to a Minnesota goal & a regulation loss for Detroit with their season on the line.
Can't believe it. #LGRW
Roman Anthony is the 14th 21 year-old ever to reach base 4 times on Opening Day.
9 of the first 13 are in the Hall of Fame.
Unreal stat from @alexspeier.
@ESPNFANSUPPORT well, it took me 2 hours to go through ESPN and then HULU to get ESPN unlimited, in order to buy the app. Now, live video is only workin at ESPN and not on the MLB app.
@CoachCodyFrench After last night's win, it went up to 69% per the stat nerds. Today's series of events doesn't help. Next two games will either swing it to 75-80% or drop it to about 50-50. They play MTL and BOS -- all 3 teams within 2 points (a win)
We lost a good one today.
Former Wolverine Jerry Diorio passed away.
Jerry played OL for Michigan from 1980-83, then had a cup of coffee in the NFL before joining the HS coaching ranks. He was a really good dude and will be missed by all. Rest in peace.
