So in my view we got some hits and also we got some misses. Doesn't necessarily mean Sonic was in a bad spot. It's just another franchise that's gonna have some stinkers thrown in. All media franchises are gonna have it. It's not perfect but it gets the job done.

I don't think this was the dark age for Sonic. I think the darkest year for the franchise was 2014-2017 (boom era).
