My latest article on how intentions influence court decisions on estate disputes about assets held in joint tenancy - a riveting read for your enjoyment: https://t.co/Sf9iZWxGmc
At a time when more than 1.2 million British Columbians are waiting to see a specialist and thousands remain without a family doctor, the government is failing to address the root causes of the problem.
Recruiting from the United States may make for a headline, but it does nothing to fix the structural failures in our system. They are not bringing in enough providers, and they are not increasing patient attachment. British Columbians still can’t find a family doctor because the issue is not just recruitment, it’s retention.
While this government looks south for solutions, they are driving healthcare workers out of British Columbia. The Health Professions and Occupations Act will strip independence from regulatory colleges and impose top-down control. Doctors are already warning they may retire early or leave rather than work under this system.

@jennyrozelle From an estate planner's perspective - not the best conversation for the dinner table... I learn this the hard way each and every year. From the loved ones' perspective, later conversation, but not too much later (for your own sake).
@ItsMattsLaw In Canada, based on the British system, we practicing lawyers are called.. lawyers (or "barristers and solicitors" if we have a captive audience)
Thank you for your email. As you are likely aware, I am mentally checked out until 2025 and will be unable to provide a response to your inquiry until then. If you have any questions, that’s unfortunate.
