@Joel7Richardson@YouTube Hey Joel. Really enjoyed this. You're the only biblical theologian I've seen address this. Could I potentially discuss in DM some thoughts? Keen to get your opinion on a few details.
@Eli_StayFocused@joshpaull1982@GodLogic_GL It didn’t and doesn’t but I do concede his point that Paul wrote to a living church.
I just think my issue stems from the ‘We are the people and you aren’t’ claim.
This whole thing is a theological problem and I think they’re at the wrong end of it.
You discount Tertullian who coined Trinity and Origen who advanced Eastern Orthodox doctrine and defended the faith against pagans?
You show your true colours with a post as absurd as this. Can’t take seriously someone who hasn’t read their Christian history.
@OrthoBroGeorg@ccryptominor The church started with Jesus who is the head. The bible was written by the disciples. It was not ‘written’ by the church at all; it was written by the ones selected by the Holy Spirit.
The CHURCH - the universal, catholic, orthodox collective - preserved it, sure.
