I served with too many officers like you.
Think you are the smartest person in the room, but 90% of the enlisted in your division outperform you in any task. When you left the room, we rolled our eyes.
We are being led by these dangerous fools as a country.
God help us.
Let’s be absolutely clear: Iran came to the table because it ran out of options.
Its leadership was decimated.
Its military was crippled.
It’s economy under crushing pressure.
And it knew exactly what came next if it refused to negotiate.
That’s leverage.
As someone who served in Iraq and spent two years as a diplomatic liaison officer in Saudi Arabia, I can tell you this:
Iran is WEAKER today than it has been in decades.
The regime understood one thing: President Trump was prepared to do more.
That’s why they folded.
And to the armchair generals demanding weeks or months of more bombing, you’re missing the point.
The goal wasn’t endless war.
The goal was to neutralize the threat and secure peace from a position of strength.
The same President who delivered the Abraham Accords, moved the embassy to Jerusalem, and crippled Iran’s terror-financing network did it again.
President Trump forced a hostile regime to negotiate on America’s terms.
That’s NOT appeasement.
That’s deterrence.
That’s leadership.
That’s PEACE through STRENGTH.
@the_illinoize Can someone please ask the Republicans how much tax funding they wanted to provide to the Bears? And what would be the source of those tax dollars?
Things I could not possibly care less about:
1. Billionaires.
2. Billionaires not getting money from taxpayers to fund their stadiums.
3. Neighboring states wasting taxpayer money on billionaire subsidies.
There are two schools of thought. 1. Is that he would have taken a hit on "billionaires helping billionaires." 2. Is that losing the Bears is far worse for his legacy. I land on option 2.
Your child's school has an assistant superintendent for curriculum, an assistant superintendent for instruction, a director of teaching and learning, and a coordinator of academic services. Your child's teacher has thirty-two kids and no copy paper. This is not a funding problem. It is a priority problem.
Sometimes people wonder why I left the church and the political party that I called home for so many years.
My answer? I chose to believe when they told me who they are.
And I will never go back.

Erling Haaland sang the song after Arsenal lost to Manchester City last month… 🤣
You cannot buy this. There is no amount of money that can be pumped into a football club to make this happen.
The biggest club in London.
The Arsenal back on top, back where we belong.
