Hilliard threw a no-hitter during the Lions' 10-0 run-rule nightcap win over Hinds to complete their road doubleheader sweep against the Eagles. The sophomore right-hander was masterful on the mound as he faced just two batters over the minimum while making efficient use of 63 total pitches with 41 strikes. The Saraland, Ala. native struck out three batters during his dominant complete-game victory to improve to 5-1 on the year. Miles Mitchell & Hunter Russell each w/2 hits apiece for EMCC. Jacob Nunn throws 3 shutout innings without giving up a hit in relief to earn his 4th career win (1st of season).
EMCC stays even in conference play with a 9-9 MACCC mark on the year.
