@thejohnsmith Hi John. Rachel and I will be at the wardrobe tonight. If you should solo star crossed lovers then think of us. Our wedding went wonderfully and the song was the perfect accompaniment as we signed the register. Thank you for that and your new, terrific collection.
@thejohnsmith Played it twice on the way to the airport. Be proud of it John. Like much of your contribution it will be a companion piece in the years ahead. Thank you.
@santanderukhelp Whilst I don’t doubt the intentions, we will look into it is a pretty common thread which runs through all my conversations with Santander, except recently when the complaints team said there is no point in ringing; it will take the time it takes. They have my number …
@thejohnsmith@Guitarist_Mag Congratulations John. Richly deserved. Incidentally you may like knowing that Star-crossed Lovers will play as we sign our marriage register next week in Harrogate. Our two favourite vocalists joining us, which, to be perfectly honest happens most days. Thank you John and Lisa
@ian_cushing@DrRLofthouse At a risk of a bad taste comment it is not a day’s pause that is needed. It’s a permanent ceasefire. My experience as a school principal and as an inspector of 8 years is that far, far too many inspectors don’t seem to even like schools, teachers and sometimes children.
100,000 unfilled vacancies in the NHS & 150,000 unfilled vacancies across the adult social care sector - both heavily reliant on hiring workers from abroad & the MAD HATTER HOME SECRETARY’S cunning plan to fix the crisis is to make it even harder for people to come here to work!
@EQUANS_UK I am one of many people I suspect that received parking fine notices in Sept at QA hospital, Portsmouth. They were sent in error. 3. Demanding £100 each. The hospital is having to apologise. Equans refuse to engage. Hope nobody just paid up.
@mikercameron I could write an intelligent (in my view) commentary on that slightly M C Escher picture but my considered opinion, because I’m a bit tired, is that it gives me the willies.
@mikercameron And is my reading of this correct? At some point a 33 year old will be able to buy cigarettes but a 32 year old wont? Having trouble imagining how this will actually work a bit down the line. Almost as if “down the line” is not relevant.
