Reading the second book of a Horror/SF trilogy and after a great setup the 2nd book is characters doing nothing but running around back and forth and back and forth and not accomplishing anything.
This may or may not impact the success of the adaptation, but so be it! Do I care if core elements of the source material are changed drastically? Not at all! Fans will complain about respect but I don't care about this at all.
