🚨🗣 - Arne Slot:
"The main difference between this season and last is the playing styles we've faced.
"I looked at how many long balls we've already had to defend, 178 in 7 games and in the United game we had to defend 59 long balls."

Newcastle were United first (1892 vs. 1902), and actually are United in the literal sense, being two clubs that merged in what is now a one club city.
Up until 1969, NUFC and MUFC had won exactly the same amount of major honours (First Division/FA Cup/Any European trophies), and up until the Mike Ashley era, MUFC had been relegated once more than NUFC from the top flight to the second tier.
So for all the claims at being small and lack of history, simply aren’t true, in fact for the majority of the 20th century NUFC were a bigger and more successful club.
The 90s-00s have, of course, changed the the respective sizes of the clubs, with MUFC growing substantially and winning much more. No one is denying that. It’s probably the reason you picked Manchester United to “support”. But to belittle Newcastle United in such a manner is just unnecessary, and if anything, untrue.
Where Benjamin Šeško goes may allow for some point scoring on here, but at least know your history first #NUFC #MUFC
🚨💣 BREAKING: Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United, here we go!
Green light from Brentford and club to club agreement reached for £70m package, as @TheAthleticFC reports.
Contract agreed weeks ago with Mbeumo as he only wanted Man United move.
After Cunha, Mbeumo next for #MUFC.
❤️🎶 Christian Nørgaard: “I get to hear the anthem and be a part of a Champions League campaign. It’s a childhood dream… something I didn’t think would be possible. So it’s something I’m really, really happy about”.
