Pete Golding discusses Ole Miss's recruiting plan:
"A lot of people recruit based on tradition. We recruit based on trajectory.
"A lot of those places, they go show them Heisman trophies. They can go show them national championships.
"Nobody in that damn building won 'em."

@CGProgram Agreed. He talks a lot about competitive spirit, looking in the mirror, and evaluating everything (typical coach speak). Now is the time to put that talk into action if he wants to stay here and truly embraces the expectations.
Saban being essentially an advisor in this process makes the “GameDay” spiel from him and Herbstreit insisting Kiffin be allowed to coach Ole Miss in the CFP and blaming everyone but Lane all the more cringey.
Just an unnecessary own goal from everyone involved on that front
This has been updated to include a fascinating part of Lane Kiffin's deal: LSU agreed to pay his postseason bonuses even though he won't coach Ole Miss in the CFP, so he could still make up to $1 million if the Rebels win a national title without him.

1) This sounds so similar to his talking after bolting UT.
2) His offensive staff ultimatum denial and having Orgeron call early enrollees in 2010 denial, neither is believable in the least.
3) Marty needs to stake out Baton Rouge airport because this is happening again in 2030.
The funniest part is @Lane_Kiffin said he was “gonna pray to the Lord for guidance”.
Jesus was like: “my son, fuck Ole Miss over and also try to blackmail them into letting you coach the playoff by threatening to take all your staff and players with you to LSU”.
Miami jumps Vandy in the AP Poll. Just signals what everyone saw, Vandy beat a Tennessee team that didn’t have one win against a Power 4 school with a winning record all year.
Take 44 seconds out of your day to listen to Tony Vitello talk about how he approaches each new opportunity given to him. He’s truly an impressive human being.
Feels like Buster Posey really did find his guy.
Jon Gruden wants to return to coaching.......but not in the NFL.
Gruden is looking at potentially taking a college job. Will a college team reach out and try to hire him?
There could be some serious upside.
