#wormwise trying some refugia management but both the lambs drenched 56 and 28 days ago have zero egg counts grazing Lucerne and grass. A great reminder that some routine monitoring can reveal startling and sometimes confusing results
Barbers pole worm not enjoying these dry conditions. Continue to drench with triple combination for best worm kill. An effective drench gives a 3 week window without eggs in faeces
@AgLetterNZ Identify the main diseases that would affect your farm and make a plan to keep them out; bvd, footrot, weed pests, triple drench resistant parasites, infectious calf scours.....
@pregtester Animals on movement control are not mixed with other livestock. All produce leaving a restricted farm has to be signed off by MPI as are vehicles
