@SpotifyStatus After a power outage its not running right. No sound on audio only tracks, only if there is a video. Also the no sound tracks only run for a few seconds and jump to another track. Everything else is working . Updated, cleared cache nothing is fixing it.

In a parallel universe, a peace process begins, because Israel knows the international community has its back and that terrorism will never be allowed to govern next to its borders. In a parallel universe, those who fired rockets at civilians with the intention of hitting civilians and those who went house to house murdering families are facing a tribunal. In a parallel universe the Palestinians see no choice but to begin anew. In a parallel universe, our hostages are home, we begin to heal, the mandate is returned to the people.

What prevented this parallel universe was cowardice, ignorance, arrogance, and yes, hatred of Jews.

If the word genocide means anything it has to mean something beyond the (still horrible) “a lot of people are dying.” It has to mean something like a significant fraction of the population dying from targeted extermination efforts not because they are being used as human shields by their own monsters. The Nazis didn’t kill Jews as a byproduct of fighting the Russians while actually trying to kill as few as possible (subject to fighting the Russians). That would be the proper comparison to Gaza. But it didn’t happen. They killed a large fraction of Jews actually to the detriment of their war effort as their overriding goal was simply their deaths. Using the word “genocide” for the (still horrible) things happening in Gaza is an abomination.

In other words, when discussing the proper use (and improper lying propaganda use) of words like genocide, both scale and intent do matter.
