@JacobHorsfall_ When the usual bar for us in that position is Xhaka, it really shows how much we were all impressed by him. Obviously only a single game but given Fofana and Methalie played last night and all we can talk about is how imperius Ahoka was, it was extremely positive!
@JamesCopley_ I'm gutted for Mundle, guy cant catch a break. ๐ do you think this changes the club's stance on a potential Talbi sale (i know the club likely already didn't want to sell) but is it possible we impose a stay now, maybe?
@SunderlandAFC Disappointing to not get all 3 given the performance. But a point at Brentford is genuinely nothing to sniff at. Plus the overall improvement from the squad this game is a major positive. Definitely more ups then downs! HWTL
@CalSAFCFTM RLB literally said in the presser today that he likes Talbi but they have to respect the players decision... what part of that sounds like it's the club pushing Talbi out?
@CamRSAFC I do not understand the amount of flak he gets honestly. We seemed fine to allow Talbi time to adapt but people jump on Angulo over every little thing. Give him a chance ffs
@Capt_Fishpaste Tbf I am sad to see Talbi going but people blaming RLB or the club is a little odd. If we can make a massive profit on what we bought him for, while already having an upgrade in Fofana.. then that's just the system working. Hopefully allows us to upgrade RW in Jan
@UnderTheLight73 I wonder if this is why we haven't seen a lot of Fofana just yet. Maybe waiting for Talbi to leave to see if they give him 7 for the shirt promo shots
@UnderTheLight73 A bit concerning that Talbi hasn't made this. It's getting a little concerning, his minutes have gone to basically nothing but there was 0 about him being sold. Making me wonder if he's had a falling out with RLB or the club
@UnderTheLight73 I agree, I understand people's want for another striker but id rather add a RW (Catamo/Soulรฉ maybe) and give Finn Gergusian an opportunity as 3rd striker. Giving our academy prospects a clear line to the squad is nearly as important as new signings imo
@BrownSlices If football was about doing well in the previous 12 months, managers wouldnt be sacked after 5 straight losses.. but it isn't. The warning signs are blatent and people are acting like this season just doesnt matter as much as it does because we used to lose to Lincoln.
