I’m honored by the influx of endorsement requests. But let’s be honest, most endorsements are meaningless, so here’s what we’re doing: any candidate whom I endorse in this cycle will make a *hard commitment* to the following principles.

1.    The people we elect to run government should actually run the government.
a.    Favor 75% headcount reduction of federal & state bureaucrats. 
b.    If it’s state action in disguise, the Constitution still applies: The U.S. government cannot use private companies to do through the back door what government could not get done through the front door under the law.
c.    Shut down irreparable government agencies.

2.    The first & only moral duty of U.S. leaders is to U.S. citizens. 
a.    Homeland defense should be the top priority of all national defense spending.
b.    End foreign aid to any country whose national debt per citizen is less than ours & defund international institutions hostile to U.S. sovereignty.
c.    Require disclosure of dual citizenship for all public officials to expose any conflicts of interest.

3.    Public service is about serving the public, not oneself. 
a.    End trading of individual stocks by members of Congress and bureaucrats.
b.    10-year ban on lobbying for politicians and bureaucrats. Ban corporate board memberships for entities they regulated. 
c.    8-year term limits for elected officials and bureaucrats. 

4.    The absence of national pride is an existential threat to our nation’s future — we must fill that void.
a.    Every high school senior should be able to pass the same civics test that every immigrant must pass to become a voting citizen in this country.
b.    Veterans’ benefits and military compensation should be tax-free.
c.    Shut down the Department of Education & put that money back into parents’ pockets to empower educational choice.

This weather is really bringing out the worst in people. I had to pick up one item from that horrendous box store, the one that sells all the crap from China.

After “Karen” loaded her mini van, she left her cart in the open parking space next to her’s. As she pulls out, she tapped the cart with the nose of her grocery getter, just enough to give it a start and the wind propelled that metal missile full speed ahead.

I just finished getting into my truck and her cart careened along the side of it, putting a pretty deep scratch along both doors and the bed.

I jump out of the truck and she looks at me, and shrugs her shoulders in a “eh, what can you do” motion.

What I can do is exactly what I did; put the cart in front of her van and stood behind it. She couldn’t move without hitting the cart or me.

I stared her down in my best “ wish a heifer would” Clint Eastwood squint until she opened the door and asked me what my problem was.

It’s been a long night and day and I’m in no mood to explain to this soccer mom her lack of respect and burgeoning irresponsibility. She tells me to move, I told her “no” but pronounced it with an F and a You, instead.

She walked to the front to move the cart and I took my opportunity to be a “helpful citizen”, went to her open door, hit the lock button and shut it.
Now, Karen’s minivan is in the driving lane, locked and running.

She starts screaming, she’s calling the police. I laughed, said “go ahead, smart ass.” It was then Karen realized she was stranded, on an island, no phone, no purse, no keys. Unless she can McGuyver a cellphone out of a soda can she finds dumpster diving, Karen is out of luck.

I grabbed my phone and called the local police. When the officer showed up, she was barking in his face like a Chihuahua. She demanded his name, badge number, and to know if his body cam was recording. He offered his name and badge number, told her it would also be on the report. Yes, body cam is on but feel free to record me on your phone….. 🤣
His response; priceless.

Results: a tow company was called to get her car unlocked, had to give me her car insurance info so I can file a claim, (she has to pay) and I gave her the finger walking back to my truck with the cop.
She had to wait, in the cold, no coat on, no phone, no purse.

I realize how windy and cold it is but put your damn shopping cart in the corral lazy ass.
