@AlchemistJedi@FinanceLancelot@SantiagoAuFund Nothing wrong with bullets in the right hands. I don't vote to give sanction to these govts. Do you? Its a morally relativist extortion racket. I just go with the side that's less offensive. Vivek Ramaswarmy, Javier Milei for absolute standards.
@actparty It won't happen. Govts and political parties only think within a Bull's rush about the implications of what they do. 2050 as a guideline says something – institutionalised irresponsibility. Every party plays that game.
@AlchemistJedi@FinanceLancelot@SantiagoAuFund Its not that 'the US military props us the dollar', its that there is no other country that offers a respite from authoritarianism - as bad as the US is.
@AlchemistJedi@FinanceLancelot@SantiagoAuFund Gold and commondities are sold in USD. Aren't you assuming they don't trade externally - in USDs?
Haven't you heard what happens if you leave the USD system. Ask Gadaffi.
@KobeissiLetter That is such a rort. Any wealthy person can finance the sale of many shares even before then – by short selling the shares they can buy back tomorrow. So, the end of escrow tomorrow is moot. Hence the pre-escrow sell-off.
@rice_gene3333@UsArmyspoof_ In fairness, the West has responded by propping up a few industries. Who won? The mistake was to allow a 'non-market' player in the market in the first place.
@piersmorgan You do realise that you're asking the wrong question. You're making an appeal to authority case. How could authority accept this? Well, what's the evidence of corruption?
@MilkRoadAI He's already been invalidated. There is a new chip under development - far more efficient with energy. The trade off will be somewhat in between.
@PaulineHansonOz This is a misrepresentation and low-brow advert. Of course we want people to be able to buy homes. Immigrants aren't the reason for a housing shortage. I live in a home - 1 person - space for 3. Even a roof cavity for more. Govt is the problem.
