@InTheAlleyPod baseball savant doesn’t show stuff for minors but I dug into some of his game logs from 2022. velo wise it looks about the same as what we are seeing now. I’ve seen people say he threw 99-101 but it looks like there was a single pitch he threw that hard in the minors

@baxter40_22 you can make the argument he’s already lost some speed. in past years I feel like it was 50/50 him beating out double play balls. this year I can count on one hand how many double play balls he’s beat out. doesn’t steal a lot either. to be fair that’s partially lineup placement.
