Something interesting is happening around Kaliningrad.

A significant concentration of NATO ISR and command-and-control aircraft has been operating over the Baltic — but one aircraft in particular deserves attention:

🇺🇸 EA-37B Compass Call.

This isn't just another reconnaissance aircraft.

The EA-37B is one of America's newest and most specialised electronic-warfare platforms, designed to disrupt enemy communications, command networks, radar and navigation systems.

Now put the pieces together:

• ARTEMIS II — intelligence collection
• E-3A AWACS — airborne surveillance and battle management
• EA-37B — electronic attack

None of this means NATO is preparing to attack Kaliningrad.

Exercises, intelligence collection and mapping Russian electronic emissions are perfectly plausible explanations.

But deploying such a rare electronic-warfare asset to the Baltic — particularly amid increasing warnings about possible Russian attempts to test NATO — is not something I would ignore.

Sometimes aircraft movements tell you very little.

Sometimes they tell you where people are paying very close attention.
