Our friends that come to work seasonally on H-2B visas just arrived three days ago. Some of these guys have been coming to The Prairie Club for 13 years and it’s always great to see them again. The visas are never guaranteed, so getting them late is better than never at all.
It was great to get back on campus and participate in the stakeholder panel at the UNL Agronomy and Horticulture IMPACT 2026 conference this week. While there are many challenges, the purpose of land grant universities and the need for agricultural education is still strong.
@JlewTurf This is what it looks like when it’s sprayed on. It’s probably 0.25” thick. It would plug up the reels pretty quick. The glue/tackifier makes things sticky. Even if we just try to brush or blow the mulch off, we still have to wash the surface before we can mow.
