@OmarjSakr Gotta have you untermensh to do the heavy lifting. Scary how the LNP copy the Republican model of killing education to create a class of bias you can easily manipulate. Just three generations of home schooled religious conservatives and you can get yourself an insurrection…
@gamerlearner Yeah, as an interface designer and former Director of Studies at an RTO offering hospitality courses this gives me mixed feelings. ‘You eat with your eyes first’ was a chefs mantra. Set high expectations to raise effort and motivation but a polished turd actually disappoints more
Just a little sick of baby boomer leaders shrugging and saying there was little they can do about ‘unpredictable’ weather events as they pour another concrete pad for their fourteenth hundred investment property whilst keeping kids out of the market by demanding HE taxes. Brats
Okay ... Scott, lean over the table ... no, a bit more ... yep, that's it.
Pretend to say something profound.
Now raise your arm to the map - pretending (Lol!) to be a real hero - like Zelensky.
Yessss ... that's it - CLICK!
Can’t believe Dutton setup a GoFundMe for his electorate and didn’t contribute for 6hrs, and Scatty defended him rather than use the Emergency Fund setup for such disasters. Must already have it pencilled in for their mates. Disgusting behaviour
Our taxes are not for your mates you mean potato; they are for helping our most vulnerable and lifting our social capital. Or are you making jokes about them being on ‘Island time’ with Angus as you watch the poor struggle in the muck you spread?
The water hasn’t gone down yet, and we haven’t seen the full extent of the damage to our community due to catastrophic flooding. We have started a fundraiser to help local residents and businesses who have been affected. https://t.co/S9LeCG5Ywl
Learning how to learn (metacognition) and learning how to think (critically and creatively) stands out for me from this article. We have tools, we just have to use the rights one the right way rather than treating everything as a nail
@ass_deans Problem is it isn’t a joke. The Curtin VC (American) spoke how she was surprised at the risk relying on sessional staff, but her restraints meant it was the best choice from a suite of bitter options. Same day Tudge announced funding only for applied (& commercialised) research
@BantshireUni Harsh. Doesn’t do much for inclusiveness. Better to follow the Catholic University method and give credits to anyone who does bible studies
@sarahesilverman @phillipdawson@Autumm I attended a TurnItIn presentation of a new feature that detects cheating/contract writing by measuring changes in sophistication of language and grammar used in assignments. Maybe instead of being used for evil it could be engaged to show a students growth through their studies?
