Here’s my advice for the serious ballplayer:

Get the EASY stuff right, and be consistent doing the EASY things!

-Show up on time
-Show respect to your coaches and teammates
-Don’t act like a fool
-Make solid eye contact when coaches are talking
-Wear your uniform properly and look like a ballplayer
-Hustle everywhere
-Work hard, even when coaches aren’t looking
-Listen well, and do what you’re asked to do without complaining

If you can’t do the EASY things correctly, don’t expect success when things get hard!
