So there has to be two players, it doesn't matter about position between the attacker and the goal at the time the ball was passed, unless the player receiving the ball is behind the ball when it was passed.
@jt_arnold@cartilagefree To be onside there has to be two defenders between the attacker and the goal. The goalkeeper is counted as a defender. So normally it is one defender and the goalie but if the goalie is ahead of the defenders it is the closest defenders to the goal.
@alltimerobin But it is ok we can get pints! In glasses with crowns on them (potentially made by a French company, like our passports)! Just need to have a good war in Europe to get that blitz spirit! It doesn't matter that none/ very few of them lived through the war.
