as Muslims we do not have a fear of death

“I hate the idea of dying”

I hate the idea of living forever

Why would I want to reside on this earth for any longer than Allah has decreed?

Whether in the cause of Allah or by the passage of time or the failing of health or in an accident or whatever

We have seen Muslims show great composure and tawakkul and acceptance when facing death

I have shared before clips of Muslims doing just this

For example, The Saudi pilot reciting the kalimah before his plane slammed into the ground

“Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.” 3:185
