Finally, the long-awaited TRAVERSE Prostate Safety Study has just been released.

During 14,304 person-years of follow-up on 5204 men (aged 45-80 years) with hypogonadism in this randomized clinical trial, incidences of high-grade or any prostate cancer, acute urinary retention, invasive surgical procedures, and new pharmacologic BPH treatments were low and did not differ significantly between the testosterone and placebo-treated groups.
