@Gav_S_Harper I wonder if those fans with less disposable income are perhaps holding off in the hope of a final to go to instead. Would be understandable, but also a real shame if we ultimately didnt make it. One would hope a final would see more Edinburgh fans attend too.
@topofthemoonGW@GlasgowWarriors Trying to place the Sean Lamont ones. Unsurprising the top ones are all current, given lack of European progression until recently and relatively new concept of league knockouts. But still surprising to see Lamont on there but not, for example, DTH or Niko.
@RugbyInsideLine Just slowed it down here:
Screenshot 1: Gains possession of the ball, left foot still on the ground.
Screenshot 2: launches into tackle by jumping off his left foot.
Screenshot 3: gets tackled in the air by tackler who had no chance.
Clear jump into the tackle. Appalling.
@boconnorchest@thepenGW You do know that serious foul play is not nullified by an earlier technical offence in the same play, yeah? (Assuming you're even correct on that point).
I have no idea what the stadium announcer is saying in this match between Czechia and Denmark, and yet it somehow sounds unmistakably like a Scottish accent.
Is it just me?
@PremSportsTV@GlasgowWarriors Bit worried if he's looking at the SA tour as "a couple of weeks off". Hope that's not what he meant. Going to need at least one win from that tour to stay top of the URC.
@cihol1508@LeinsterClub With some of the niggling injuries we have, we could well end up with a stronger team in SA than we might otherwise have planned. If Horne, Rowe, McBeth, Jones et al are fit, they'll likely play given recent rests through injury. If we lose tomrorow it'll be full strength anyway.
Have to say, I've feared for a while that the head contact law in rugby has risked ball carriers disregarding their own safety to seek Head on Head in the tackle due to the "rewards" it can bring.
That there almost looked like a deliberate headbutt BY the ball carrier.

@scrumming_ten This "€3 million budget" that SA fans keep quoting is nonsense.
Thats the budget base, it doesn't include PONI funding or the 4 marquee players etc, nor the match fees being paid direct by SARU.
Total budgets for the SA teams are c.6-8 million.
Still lower, but not "€3m".
