I’m sure Porter Martone is smiling from ear to ear. Maybe partly because of the idea of having Carlsson in the Flyers, but mostly because his ELC is up in 2 years.
We have tendered an offer sheet to Anaheim center Leo Carlsson. The offer is a five-year contract worth an average annual value (AAV) of $18M, which would require four of the Flyers first-round draft picks in each of the next four seasons as compensation. https://t.co/nfhD4h6nEc
Very excited about all of these players getting signed. Should see most (or all) in Belleville this season, which will give a good boost to the BSens. Daoust definitely earned a two-way deal!
TRADE ALERT | The Blues have acquired Connor McMichael, Milton Gastrin and the 16th overall pick in the 2026 #NHLDraft in exchange for Jordan Kyrou. https://t.co/I7K7zDK7CC #stlblues
Disappointing that @Sportsnet didn’t use any players in @CHLHockey players to promote the NHL Draft. Reid or Malhotra would be the obvious choices to pick from.
@SteveMcLean888 Side note about Vlad: hands down the most entertaining player we’ve ever seeing during warmups. Always having the time of his life! I’m sure Storm fans will see once he finds his new routine.
Personally, this has to be the most uninteresting final in many years. If I had to pick a side though, I hope the Canes win. Never liked Vegas since they joined the league.
Glad a match penalty was assessed. Too bad he’s an overage and a suspension likely won’t affect him. It was amazing seeing how fast neutral fans in the crowd quickly threw their support to Kitchener for the rest of the game.
@AJS89 He was good until he started getting hurt a couple years ago. Unfortunately since then, he just hasn’t been reliable. A big reason the BSens are not in a playoff spot this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is in Europe next season.
@BigWillyStyles_ Without puck tracking technology, that could work, provided cameras are exactly on the goal line.
Totally agree with no on ice official having a view to call it a goal. Seemed inconclusive to them during the play since no call was made. If they were unsure, should be no goal
No definitive goal called during the play, and the officials call a goal after huddling to chat about it. Meanwhile the NHL has no clear view of the puck fully crossing the goal line. That’s bullshit.
@BigWillyStyles_ Was it? There’s no clear view, and the refs didn’t make a call on the spot. Definitely close but there’s no definitive way of saying it fully crossed
