@elenoresturko @FDIMovie Imagine if we joined the US economically. Canada stays as Canada but we have a similar setup as the EU (not that I particularly like unelected bureaucrats). We remove the cost of managing the CAD/US border entirely and refocus CBSA resources entirely on ports.
