The "coworker" that I share a desk with is unaware that every time she shifts her weight or pushes down on the table, I get violently smacked in the shins. Sometimes, when my elbows are on the table, I end up with a face full of laptop as well.

Today, I decided that it was time to play together. So we got dressed, went and bought a wiffle bat, a package of extra wiffle balls, and a 4 pack of multicolored swim rings. Then we went to the park and played wiffle ball together. All five of us & our dog. And it was glorious.

Felt like I had a pretty productive, dare I say, good day. Then my father-in-law called and first thing he said was, "Did you enjoy the game?" Which was a tad confusing for me. Then he reminded me today was scheduled to be Royals Opening Day. We've gone every year since 2001.
