@RyanSoapKing25 Yes it was such a delightful scene and I was quite emotional after it π.
It has become clear over the last few episodes that Oscar really is falling for Josh. His reaction at the end emphasises that point too Hopefully they will be able to get together in the coming months π
@RyanSoapKing25 But it's devastating for Jasmine - especially as this was the best birthday ever for her with her birth family around her.
Her revenge will most probably violent given her character. We await to see - but I wouldn't want to be either Josh or Oscar in the coming weeksπ
@RyanSoapKing25 I think he's really starting to fall for Oscar - and vice versa given their tender scene in the den last night.
Thus the sight of him with Jasmine is hurting him and he feels this is the only way he can be with Oscar.
I really hope they are together by the start of 2027 π
@RyanSoapKing25 Yes I agree it was a really touching encounter π
It would make sense if Chelsea and Max married given the fast forward scenes - but I can't work out at the moment how they would get together.
I guess we'll see - but it'll be dramatic - not least with Gray returning soon π
@WarwickshireCCC A terrific keeper and a vital part of Reeve's 1990's team.
How he didn't play for England in that period I don't know
The importance of his 116* V Durham in 1994 cannot be underestimated - because it allowed Lara to reach 501* at the other end π.
May he Rest In Peace π
@RyanSoapKing25@BBCiPlayer As for favourite scene, their arrival was memorable - plus Ronnie's first encounter with Jack when she was out running and got splashed by him - leading to her returning the favour by emptying her water over him π
@RyanSoapKing25@BBCiPlayer I wish Danielle had lived longer as it would have given Ronnie a purpose as it were.
My only gripe was the baby swap story - which whilst important to show, was very out of character for Ronnie I think.
@RyanSoapKing25 Less good has been the inconsistent stuff - e.g. what made Jasmine deliberately push Cindy down the stairs?
Will's appearance filming Nugget's McKlunky's fit when he was supposed to be in Devon was both inconsistent and very out of character too π
@RyanSoapKing25 Good in parts I think.
The Nigel storyline was excellent and the return of Max has been good in terms of his repaired relationships with Lauren and Oscar - and 'partnership' with Cindy. Oscar himself is a fantastic character and the writing for him is great too π
@RyanSoapKing25 Yep I agree with most of that - except I think Ravi is the gunman - and whilst I hope that Penny is alive (I love the character), I fear she might die in a house fire or something of that fashion.
I guess we'll see - all very exciting π
@RyanSoapKing25 The return of Cindy/Rose - and thus the return of @missmcollins to EastEnders has been one of the best things to have happened to Albert Square this decade.
She was iconic in the 1990s and she's just as iconic now π
@RyanSoapKing25 A high % beer would make a difference too - a pint of Leffe Blonde e.g. at 6% or thereabouts will make you very wobbly to say the least π
@RyanSoapKing25 I think the fact he didn't have anything to eat is crucial here. Consuming any alcohol on an empty stomach causes a person to be wobbly at least. Whether that would increase his alcohol level (in terms of the breathalyzer test) is unclear however I think π
@RyanSoapKing25@BBCiPlayer Lastly I love how Amy's pseudo meltdown and argument with Ricky over the "blackcurrant squash dress disaster" incident showed that she's becoming Roxy like in her personality too π
@RyanSoapKing25@BBCiPlayer Yes they were such good characters played by terrific actresses in Samantha and Rita.
They also had a really good relationship with Scott Maslen too which showed on screen in their various 'Jack' related dramas π.
@babesmithh Just out of interest - what's Wendy talking about here? I'm thinking perhaps her clash with Sonja (and thus turning into the mother in law from hell) towards the end of her life - but feel free to correct on that if you so wish π
@_kieranbl The silence from the bulk of the crowd at the award of the penalty at the end is pretty hilarious - broken by Chaplin's beautifully aimed kick. For the record, it was the correct decision - and a brave one to make at that stage of the game I think π
@RyanSoapKing25 I think Yolande is trying her best to follow the Christian ethos of "loving her enemy". Not easy when it comes to a racist monster like Eddie - but I can admire her effort π
