Gotta give Kendrick, UMG, and their stans credit. That side really tried to paint this narrative that Drake was a weirdo pdf running a sex trafficking ring of minors with a secret daughter. Said he was f#* dogs, called him a white man, and went all the way to the SB with it. Even went so far as to inflate streams for Kendrick while removing radio play entirely from Drake, reinforcing the idea that he had lost and was falling off, and that his career would soon be over. It’s even that much better that Drake starved out the entire game for over a year exposing the "Dot era" for what it was. Then exploding with Iceman, the biggest plot twist in music history since Michal and Sony, which took the entire world by storm, leaving their hate campaign in the dust. Drake's strategy was impeccable.
