@runner40k I (Dan) am gutted couldn't make it down, but taking positives, still scaled the Three Peaks. Body had zero left in it!

Also, I (Dan) had to beg the railway people to take me as I had no cash on me as it was in the car! Clearly have an honest face :)

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

FYI, no snow on Snowdon, but seriously strong winds and very heavy rain.

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

We've all met up now, back in car, making our way back to Lancashire :)

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Unfortunately, Dan made it to summit of Snowdon but retired injured (knee and ankle, not serious!) and got the train down. #fail

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Great success! JB and Andy completed the Three Peaks in 23hrs 25! #smashedit

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

We're almost there, going up Pyg route if that means anything. Don't forget 1630 is the magic time to be down for!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

And those asking why it's taking longer to get down than go up, blame Dan 'Captain Slow' Shelley and my cautious approach to descents!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Sorry for typos, I (Dan) am rather sleepy :)

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Steve describes our current speeded 'moving' - make of that what you will! We're gonna start naming and shaming cars that get on our way :)

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Also, massive thanks go to Steve James, our designated driver, for keeping us on target! Legend!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Other updates I forgot to tweet: M8 was closed last night,so detour through Glasgow city centre at Saturday midnight... Interesting!

Picture from top of Scafell Pike http://ow.ly/i/cQr7. ETA to Snowdon is 1215-1230, photo finish may be required!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Pictures will be uploaded later, signal is still too patchy at the moment!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Good morning world! We're back down from Scafell Pike and en route to Snowdon. ETA is 12:30, meaning 24 hr target might be tough!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

At top of Scafell Pike. View awesome!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

@GJShelley1 Thanks for support lil sister!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

@saintsman5 It's not mountain lion season!

[Andy, Dan and JB @AndyDanAndJB]

Now packed up and en route to Scafell Pike. ETA is 0330, so time for food, drink and sleep before we do it all again!
