I've been working on this drawing of a bunch of ninja ducks in five-point perspective with ballpoint pen. I will probably do a Youtube livestream where I will give the characters some tone with ink wash.
Cat and mouse standoff. Ballpoint pen & markers.
Haha, I had no idea where this was going when I started. I just knew I wanted to draw a cat doing something, but that was it. The mouse character was an afterthought. #sketchbook
I finally got a sketchbook just for thumbnails! I start with a fat marker and just make random shapes. Then I go in with a fineliner and try to make something sensible (or not) out of them. #drawingtips#artadvice#sketchbook#makingart
Here's my final drawing of the year 2025 (full reveal later) on a stack of sketches I made since late May, when I started drawing seriously again. #sketchbook#pencilsketch
One Piece Usopp fan art! Also, I took the opportunity to try out my new Pentel brush pen. Hadn't done any inking in many years, I forgot how stressful it can be! The pen was quite thick, so I did the details with a pigment liner from Staedtler. #OnePiece#FanArt
Designed a knight based on an onion. Went with the first design that came to mind, drew a few poses and jumped into rendering. #characterdesign#sketchbook
Working on another Battle Angel Alita sketch. Nothing set in stone yet, in fact, I'm surprised I haven't erased through the paper yet, haha! Might finally try out my brush pen and ink this one. #gunnm
Had some fun drawing Battle Angel Alita as an exercise in drawing from imagination. I limited myself to one tiny reference image from the manga, in a different pose, and basically stole the design for the most part. I didn't want to reinvent the wheel here. #traditionalart
