@wildblue0@LairdOfThManor The other thing which confirms your point is we do not have “Platoon Leaders”
That is a US term
We have Platoon/Troop Commanders depending on the unit that you are in
@wildblue0@LairdOfThManor Correct we don’t
We have lieutenants, newly commissioned junior officers have only one “pip” and after 6-12 months receive there second “pip”
Both donate the rank of lieutenant and they are addressed as such
@Elsie6Hickman@LairdOfThManor They don’t have Platoons in the Household Cavalry they have Troops
PH was a Forward Air Controller(FAC)during his first stint in the Gan
@CiciTee1 I wore non regulation boots all the time in the RGJ
Gorges lined “Danner Boots” to be precise
PH is wearing his vest, helmet and regulation light weight desert combats
Many guys on ops in the “Gan” wore non regulation clothing whilst in a FOB
@LNallalingham@Iromg I moved to Thailand in 2012 for work, I was then transferred by my company to the US
At no time in either of those countries did I have recourse to public funds
I worked and provided for myself and my family and continue to do so
@MilitaryCooI As a licensed gun owner in possession of a Texas LTC my reaction would be to protect myself from the possibility of a serious assault or even a deadly one if my weapon was taken from me so I would defend myself by using deadly force if needed
@possum_simp@BenFRubinstein Maybe when zeroing at a fixed target, but engaging multiple moving targets would require a new “sight picture” for each one
