@Buccigross Yep. As a Canes fan, this is disappointing, but I’m not discouraged. Duds can happen. This is our second of the playoffs. You really don’t want it in the Cup Final, but whether you get hammered 6-0 or lose a 2-1 heartbreaker it counts as 1 game. How do you respond.
@Frizz_99@DownGoesBrown I’m sorry, but this is truly the dumbest argument. Isn’t it centimeters between the pass slipping through there for Stone to break free? If he carried the puck in onside, the puck might have been poked away or the pass deflected.
@DownGoesBrown So, in the Montreal series you contended that it was when a narrow offside happens, then a goal occurs 30 seconds later in largely unrelated action. This resulted in a goal 2 seconds later. What the problem now?
@HHS1DPU@itismarkharris@BrianKirschner_@hook_line_stnkr I do agree. It may be true that consistent quality of the build of the golf ball is something Titleist owns. That’s possible. But performance is impossible to claim because of how different each player is.
@HHS1DPU@itismarkharris@BrianKirschner_@hook_line_stnkr Yes, and crazy as it may seem, it really is player dependent. For the Maxfli Tour X, it was a solid 1.5+ mph faster for me off the driver. Spin and launch were the same with irons and greenside was basically identical. So I took the extra carry with the Maxfli Tour X.
@Wade87847973@spiritfan8@Buccigross I think this is fair. It certainly deserved thorough review. The call being interference on the ice is important. You aren’t doing this, but anyone making an argument in either direction about when/if the whistle blew has missed the point of what was being reviewed.
@alex_kolstee Correct. Anyone on EITHER side of this that talks about the whistle doesn’t get it. It was called interference. And the video clearly shows him shoving the glove to push the puck further under Andersen, ultimately into the net. That is the right call, even if the puck was loose
@Wade87847973@Buccigross It’s interference because he whacks the glove, which then shoves the puck further under him and ultimately into the net. That’s interference. Same as pushing the pads back into the net. Yes, the player can pursue the puck, but he doesn’t get the puck, he whacks the glove.
@Buccigross Respectfully, you are wrong here. He whacks the glove and in doing so shoves the puck under Andersen and across the line. It’s goalie interference. Same as pushing the pad into the net.
The Carolina Hurricanes are officially heading to the Stanley Cup Final. This team has built a culture of relentless consistency — and if that systematic, smothering style of play is considered "boring" by outsiders, then give us all the boring hockey in the world.
@corylav Whenever I think of Calvin de Haan I think of him yelling out “Mr. Game 7!” at Justin Williams in the locker room video following the OT series winner against Washington back in 2019. Great moment.
