@2hrTV@TheCyberdevil Yes, there are often a few frames (amongst 100's of thousands) where it gets it wrong, but as a Doctor Who fan I'm able to overlook this, in the same way as I can overlook a boom mic in shot, or a wobbly set, or a poor special effect, in favour of a clearer and sharper picture.
@2hrTV@TheCyberdevil Actually @2hrTV I think you've hit the nail on the head there. I could be wrong, but I don't think that the AI treatment has ever been sold as 'restoration'. I see it as another iteration of a story.

NEW VIDEO: Doctor Who S21 Blu-Ray Collection: Is it too much AI? A Comparison Between DVD & Blu-Ray
https://t.co/gOLNaZMNiw
This is a comparison of exact complaints of over use of AI that I have seen on social media. Not all but ones that I have seen lately and I compare these between the DVD & Blu-ray to see how much ai has been applied. I have not used anyone's names from the posts I take these from and do not do this with the intent of being rude to anyone. I want to see for myself if the ai is heavy handed here.

@DannieMadsen17@finneyzair@TheCyberdevil Not too noticeable at all if you just sit back and enjoy the show and appreciate all the hard work that's gone into it. However if you want to pause it and zoom in on parts of the screen you will probably notice some oversmoothing or over sharpening.
Peter Mandelson had lied repeatedly, declared a shocked Keir Starmer – adding, ‘Also, you'll never guess the Pope’s religion, or what woods-based activity all those bears get up to’
