4 Little Gulls dip-feeding off Moel y don were a good start to the day (nice birds for my 100th sp within 1km of base at Felin) followed by my first Sandwich Tern of the year. Chased the LapBunt at Cors Ddyga - no luck but did find a Green-winged Teal to compensate!

A visit to Llangefni industrial estate for our regular dose of starlings. A great performance from about 25,000 birds this time and they attracted quite a crowd.

Short visit to Cors Bodeilio this morning (hmm...perhaps try again in summer) followed by a trip around W side of Llyn Cefni where single Whooper Swan and male Scaup at dam end, and a couple of Goldeneye always good to see. Bit of gull action too with 2-300 and building at 1pm.

N Wales coastal path a bit out of action at Morpha Aber today, but plenty of interest in a short walk... seem to be a good number of Pintail around at the moment, and a well-collared Jackdaw made me wonder if it's an eastern bird?

A few stops in NE area of Anglesey today : c660 Oystercatchers near Gallows Point, Beaumaris high tide; 3 Black Guillimots and a couple of RTDs off Treath Leiniog; RTD and 1 Black Guillimot off Fedr Fawr, all in quiet seas. @AngBirdNews

Glow-in-the-dark rabbit in the Aberffraw dunes this afternoon,... just arrrsssking for trouble if you ask me. The whole warren there is something of an extensive, large area trip hazard, proceed with caution!

Braint /Abermenai estuaries: @AngBirdNews Whooper Swan with a couple of Mutes on nearby field. Plenty of ducks and waders at distance inc 562 Shelduck, c. 800 Oystercatchers, also '00s Dunlin and Teal, also Pintail, 1 Greenshank, c30+ Knot, Curlew, Redshank etc

A few hours spent in the south corner of Anglesey today : Newborough Dunes it's usual quiet self, just Song Thrush (seem to be a few around today) , a few mipits, BB, carrion crow and Stonechat. Estuary was a bit more lively though...

Good, if dull, views of Moel y don mudflats N and S, from high up on mainland today. Nice range of birds this morning inc 17 Brents, 2 Teal, 30 Redshank, 21 Curlew, 6 Dunlin and 2 Greenshank @AngBirdNews

Our evening trip for Starlings this time took us to Llangefni water treatment works on Llangefni Link Road where thousands poured into the trees from 4.15pm. .. estimate at 7 thousand but always difficult to count! @AngBirdNews

@marcbuzzard Interesting,... my local small reservoir in north staffs, usually with double figures of BHGs loafing, has been almost blank all week... I wonder if they've gone coastward? Or perhaps I just visited at a quiet time.

A good Curlew count of 96 ( @AngBirdNews) at Moel y don this morning was helped by them flocking on the sandbank. Also 80 L-b Brents, c50 Redshank, +usuals. Our Starling roost trip took us to Llyn Bodgylched this afternoon... c2000 there but not performing well in the wind.

Busy at Moel y don this morning: Ringed Plover, numbers jumped up to 25 overnight and Brent Geese 54, Redshank 25, Oystercatcher 38, Curlew 27. 3 Whooper Swans High over Port Dinorwic at 7.55am from Anglesey heading E will have overflown Moel y don @AngBirdNews
