@AP_Magazine I’ve been lucky enough to have had a few successes, it’s a lovely feeling and puts a big grin on my face. The important thing is not to get upset when you don’t do so well, it’s all so subjective.
@ScotNaturePhoto Thankyou 😁, it’s something I look forward to every year. A great book as ever this year, with some fantastic images in it, thanks for all the great work organising it all!
The inspirational Scottish Nature Photo Awards book is out. @ScotNaturePhoto I’ve entered this great comp since 2011 – been in 12 of the books (30+ times) & had 4 “top 3” finishes. This year - 2nd in “Environmental” & had 7 shortlistings (this is my fave). My advice - enter!!!
@davidqueenan They are only running if they get caught… pretty sure the old rule was 3 strikes and a disqualification (is that right?), now it seems to be a warning then three strikes and you lose 1 minute. Sport should be about performance not how well cheating is identified.
@Photo_Poll One that never gets love on social media or anywhere else for that matter, but is a personal favourite. I see a spirit hovering above a recumbent nasty old man’s face, as he regrets an uncharitable life reaching it’s end. Jolly aren’t I?
@Photo_Poll I see it as people a)are engaged enough to hit like, b) engaged enough to dislike or are c) utterly indifferent. The last is the most common and also the most disappointing.
@Photo_Poll It can sit on my hard drive or… I can post it to SM and see if anyone likes it or wants a chat about it. But with all the suppressed engagement these days, really it’s just a timeline for myself to remind me of what images I’ve taken and when. I post a lot less these days.
New Title Announcement!
