@darkoparko11 Exactly. Hysteria about selling JJ when reality is that in the last two seasons he has mostly been unfit. Had a great final but data will show that he can’t deliver for 46 games in L1 and better full backs had him in their pockets last year. Pragmatic
@theboygosling @bobbytomncfc 100% correct. The issue is that as solid and supportive as the Bros are, I just don’t think they have the funds to actually invest more. Sure they can see the issue but just fundamentally not able to do anything about it
@allnuttsarewe@jacobncm Exactly this. Football radars revenues are collapsing at pace because AI now does this for nothing. Last 3 years revenues falling like a stone. Our owners can’t spend what we need
@Danny40906984@forza_notts Our owners core Football Radar business has seen revenues falling rapidly. They are very good well meaning owners but they basically don’t appear to have the money to invest versus those near the top of L2
@LJ1862@nottscountyfor Why Platt? If we gave him a further year then the first half of it is for nothing as he’s out and the back half is for 4 months playing time on the basis of a gamble that he gets back. Waste of cash
@Bryn1914088@darkoparko11@ARLukomski With you all the way. Their Football Radar business is declining fast year on year and they keep pretending the model works. We apparently have play off budget each year but don’t out perform, so model no better than any other teams scouting
@Danny40906984@KRennicks40 Exactly right. Enoru and Browne ‘for the future’, Belshaw looked very slow on 2 of the 3 goals today and is honest but old, Tangen lightweight and won’t be retained and Ndlovu full of industry but no way going to be league 1 standard even if we did get up
@Official_NCFC Slightly worrying that there were no real questions about Norburn and Robbo injuries (likely told to avoid) and also no player presser so far either. Time for Hinchy
@notts_stats Sooner him win the Feb award. Would mean we’ve done well against Bromley, Shrewsbury, Tranny and Grimsby and would be a long way towards going up
@richyfoster And 6 of our remaining home games against teams in the bottom half. Win those and beat Oldham, Harrogate and Accrington away and we could be up without ever needing to trouble any of our rivals
Totally agree with this. Reality is that we’ve been told for last 3 years that we have ‘edge of playoffs budget’ and we then get edge of playoff outcomes. Data model therefore no better than any other teams.
@KRennicks40 I've had my doubts over this ownership for about 2 years personally, for me they've got a simple choice this month now, invest or start making plans to step aside, this data module whatever they want to call it doesn't work at this level
@AliNCFC 16 games between now and the end of the window. Win 13 of them, onto 63 points, sell for over £1m and trust Dennis to get us 19 points from last 16 games?. Simple!!!
@roweypw@Official_NCFC Saw that too. Particularly bemused by Roos and a comedy moment in the last 20 mins of the game. He was literally shaking his head and laughing with head in hands. He knows that he’s been dealt a dud there.
@MagpieCirclePod Great podcast as usual. Still can’t get my head around why Paul thinks there is a ‘Y’ in Alassana Jattas name (surely it’s not pronounced Alassanya?) but perhaps I just need to get out more 😂
@sdbanotts@Official_NCFC Know what you mean but reality is that the £7-8k a week that came off the wage bill for these 2 is the only way that we have been able to afford the 3 or 4 new faces over the last month or so
@PieCarlton The tech board is super exciting. If we try and make the championship with the same approach as everyone else, we’ll fail just as we have for the last 30 years as we have less money. I’m all in for this. COYP.
