@RacesNow_@racingoncourse I’ve just realised if I ever decide to stand for parliament, someone will did my last tweet up. Which is lucky, as I am very unlikely to stand for parliament. I’d offer about 10000/1 in fact.
@RacesNow_@racingoncourse SD, I didn’t see you at the music night at Haydock last night, What a treat, 3 groups I’d never heard of and a 10% discount as there was no horses to spoil the music. Actually I didn’t make it myself, I believe there were 3 men and a dog there,
@racingoncourse I think it goes back to the day when you tipped ‘Time For Sandals”, and some people erroneously thought you were going to put a photo of your toes on-line. I know it was a misunderstanding, but you can see their thinking if they were trying to protect under-16s.
@PhilipDaviesUK@NationalHways@SteveDavey71@racingoncourse National Highways - why not put the usual rubbish notice “Report of debris” up. I see this every time I go on a smart motorway, with a 40MPH limit imposed. There has never, ever been any debris. Who has reported there is debris? How do I report that there is no debris?
@racingoncourse@Coffee1Dale@RacesNow_ Thanks for clarifying, I naively assumed that more tracks nationally were JCR, and at least one fo them would be in Yorkshire.
@peejb@racingoncourse@Bickley14 To be fair, on the day the problem was on the outer track (I think that’s the right name for it), they ran 3 sprints on the inside track, and cancelled those which needed to come round the bend, as they couldn’t move the barriers in time. Maybe the issue is more extensive.
@racingoncourse@RacesNow_ That’s 5 days racing at Haydock lost so far as a result of this issue, plus the loss of 3 good races on the day of the original problem. It’s all very well offering additional reciprocals at the revised venue, but this is not really a great compensation.
@HORISracing @racingoncourse@BHAStewards Is this the rule you keep referring to ? It does not cover the scenario in the Derby at all, there was no fault with the stalls.
