This afternoon, we were back to Kitalya Mini-Max Prison to check on the prisoners of conscience. They're of strong spirits and appreciate everyone who has not forgotten about them but continues to use every avenue to push for their freedom.

Since 2020, Sarah Damulira has carried the pain of her missing husband, John Ddamulira, who was abducted. Her passing today leaves behind children now deprived of both parents. May her story remind us that beyond our differences, humanity, compassion, and dignity must always come first.
May she rest in peace. 🕊️
Mrs. Nantumbwe Sarah Ddamulira was a wife to John Ddamulira, the @NUP_Ug supporter who was abducted from his shop at Kisekka market in 2020 and is missing to-date. Sadly, Sarah passed on this morning. Like other family members of those disappeared, Sarah has spent the last five years moving everywhere looking for her husband. It is most painful that she has passed on without finding any answers. Kitalo nnyo.
It’s been over a year since you were abducted on the orders of the President’s son, Muhoozi. You were beaten, stripped, and subjected to humiliation no human being should ever endure. It is sad, horrifying, and deeply painful to witness such injustice.
Yet, to this day, you remain behind bars on his orders. The judiciary, which should protect the rights of every citizen, appears powerless when those entrusted with justice are perceived to be under the influence of the First Family.
But trust me, one day, all injustices will come to an end. Those who actively participated in the dehumanization and persecution of Ugandans will individually be held accountable and face the consequences of their actions.
Hang in there, brother, as we continue to demand your freedom and the freedom of all those unjustly detained.

I have received the sad news of the death of Ms. Sarah Nantumbwe (1st image), a wife to comrade John Ddamulira (2nd image) who was abducted from his spare parts shop in Kisekka Market in November 2020 and has never been seen again. She has died carrying the pain of not knowing what became of her husband, a pain that many families of our disappeared know far too well.
Ms. Nantumbwe's death has brought back memories of Ms. Monica Nabukenya (4th image), who also passed away just a few months ago in November 2025 after enduring a similar ordeal following the abduction of her husband, comrade Kibalama Johnbosco (3rd image), on Martyrs Day in June 2019. It's a pity that both ladies spent years hoping and searching for answers that never came!
May Ms. Nantumbwe rest in eternal peace.

It is with profound sadness that we learn of the passing of Sarah Ddamulira, wife of John Ddamulira who was abducted in 2020 and has remained missing since. During our recent visit to the hospital, she shared with us her feeling that her life was nearing its end, but she was deeply pained by the possibility of leaving without knowing what happened to her husband. Her children are now left without a father and mother. May God see it fit that justice be served to families like Sarah’s.

We don’t accept your apology. I join my teacher Dr. Atim Patricia Nalongo. She mentions steps DS Tayebwa would have taken to make the apology a little genuine. Many here asked him to at least return the generator he got irregularly so that it can serve many Ugandans at a healthy facility at least. I also add that both he and his current boss can demonstrate that they will do better by using the appropriation and budget approval powers of Parliament to at least cater for one critical priority-#PayAllMedicalInterns
Bukuya road is full of dust like there is no government at all. Cars disappear in the cloud of dust and businesses are suffering. After 40+ years of rule, basic roads like this are still a problem.
Irene Nampala has been officially nominated to contest in the Kalangala District Woman MP by-election. Nampala promised to complete the unfinished work of her late sister, Helen Nakimuli (NUP), who passed away in April. If elected, she pledges to prioritize the concerns of fishermen, women’s empowerment, and upgrading the district's healthcare and education services.
