@old_punky Can't do that until they vote for it. This tournament is being used as the vehicle to legitimise it. The most meaningful form of protest is to highlight it as a sham so they can't hold it up as an example of it working. Lots of record low attendances since the boycott began.

@old_punky They'll buy the votes needed. They've doubled the prize money for this tournament to keep the owners sweet. If Man City want B teams they have enough petty cash to buy off most L1/2 owners! They've referred to it as a 'short term disruption' to the league structure!
