From today, those experiencing domestic abuse will be able to go into a Boots or indie chemist & seek help. If they say the codeword ‘ANI’ they’ll be taken to a private room & asked if they want to call 999 or domestic abuse helpline. ANI stands for Action Needed Immediately

The most consistent advice I’ve given as a NHS therapy manager is you cannot provide perfect therapeutic interventions/rehabilitation during a pandemic
You have to give patients & yourself realistic expectations, have time boundaries & know your physical & emotional limitations

Few words to myself around telehealth/consults generally 🤔🤔
1) don't go into a consultation with any perceived expectations or barriers - let the conversation flow were it wants to go
2) Give the patient time to talk, air any concerns - even if you think its irrelevant
