PLATE POLITICS: Democrat Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoed a bipartisan bill to create a specialty license plate honoring Charlie Kirk, claiming the "bill falls short."
Hobbs suggested the license plate would "insert politics into a function of government that should remain nonpartisan."
The state has already approved the following specialty plates with political interest ties:
