@hartleywintney The donation tables are giving away loads of plastic things like other types of poppies and wristbands anyway. Go after wasteful volumes of food packaging if you wanna target plastics.
@hartleywintney I like them and think it's a good use of plastics and funds, George. They are far more effective at keeping such an auspicious need for remembrance in the hearts and minds of younger generations than poppies being given away in supermarkets not frequented by them.

@pritipatel Never mind that over 80% of Belarusians didn't vote for their president, who was elected in a fraudulent election in 2020. The majority of Belarusian people don't support this war or recognise their Lukaschenko as their president.
Completely agree @UKHospKate and it's also important to recognise that the "passport" only confirms that you've had the vaccine, which neither prevents catching COVID or passing it on. So they're useless.
